Overview
During the reign of Long Hua, court power struggles intertwine with a forbidden romance. Xiao Duo, a formidable eunuch conspiring with Prince Fu to seize the throne, rescues Bu Yinlou, a tribute lady meant to die for the late emperor. Forced into each other’s lives, they slowly fall in love despite their unequal status. Their bond deepens on a journey to Jiangnan, but threats from rival factions, the palace, and Xiao Duo’s hidden identity place them in constant danger. Caught between love and ambition, they must navigate betrayal and sacrifice as fate pushes them toward a perilous future.

Some kind of very "brutal" (Ep.2 beginning "Handsmaid Tale"-Style) in some aspect, but for me also very "asthetic", wonderful pictures and camera-quality/-work..
wonderful colors..(i watch it right now only for the "asthetic" aspects)..
