Overview
Tormented by a hidden family curse, Heather lives in seclusion on the outskirts of a small town. When she falls for the rebellious Jonny, their connection threatens to unravel Heather's suppressed desires, tempting her to unleash the animal within.

It's a beautiful movie. The subtext of being a wolfperson as an analogy for the trans experience is definitely an interesting take, and it's easy to understand and assimilate. It has the perfect level of complexity for people to feel super smart as you start to unwrap the different meanings after the film is over.
The imagery is beautiful, perhaps the red and blue is a bit overdone, but it never looks wrong or out of place. Tasty, very tasty.
Also the music is perfect, I wound up dreaming with the pulsating rhythm that dominates the more tense situations in the film. Random note, the music is done by Boy Harsher.
